Like many of his compatriots, Bailey took his first steps into motorsport through karting, initially in France where he obtained the FFSA Volant d’Or, before transferring his license to the British MSA in 2016.

In 2017 he won the Junior Rotax Midlands championship and in 2018 raced in the SuperOne British Karting Championship.

In his 2019 Ginetta Junior rookie season, he improved constantly throughout the year, finishing with a podium at the final round at Brands Hatch and had further success with fourth place overall in the November Winter series.

The 2020 Ginetta Junior season was delayed by the pandemic but started with a victory in the first race of the season.

It would be the first of seven overall victories alongside multiple podiums and helping secure the Teams’ Championship for R Racing.

Bailey led the overall Championship for the majority of the season, only losing out in a winner-takes-all shootout in the final race of the season.

Bailey is bi-lingual French/English & currently studying A-level Physics, Maths & French.
