United Autosports sont ravis de confirmer que Bailey Voisin et Charlie Fagg rejoindront leur équipe GT4 pour 2021.

Le duo s’associe à la McLaren 570s GT4 de l’équipe alors que United Autosports fait ses débuts dans la Série GT4 européenne.

Bailey Voisin est un pilote de course britannique de 18 ans, qui a commencé sa carrière de pilote automobile en kart.  Il a passé les deux dernières années en participant au Championnat Junior Ginetta, où il a terminé troisième dans le classement général l’an dernier.  

A 21 ans, Charlie Fagg est actuellement pilote McLaren GT et a de l’expérience dans les machines gt4, après avoir déjà couru dans l’ADAC GT4, China GT, GT britannique et l’European GT4 Series.

United Autosports fera un retour à la course GT cette année, après avoir couru avec succès dans une gamme de machines GT depuis la formation de l’équipe en 2010. Leur dernière course GT a eu lieu en 2015, l’équipe passant à des prototypes sportifs de course l’année suivante dans L’European Le Mans Series. Depuis lors, ils ont remporté plusieurs courses et championnats à travers une gamme de séries différentes.

La Série GT4 européenne 2021 débutera à Monza, en Italie, du 16 au 18 avril.

Bailey Voisin:

Charlie Fagg:

Racing with such a professional and established outfit is a dream for me and I am confident with the incredible teamwork and support from McLaren that this is a winning relationship. I am very excited to be returning to the European GT4 Series as well, a championship I started in 2017. I have had some great memories from the series. I am also very much looking forward to working with my teammate Bailey, whom I’ve worked with and watched perform brilliantly in Ginetta Juniors. I am really looking forward to helping Bailey in his first year of GT racing. I am also very proud to represent McLaren as their GT driver for a fourth year running and I will give everything to ensure that I get the McLaren 570s GT4 to the top of the standings come the end of the year. I would like to thank United Autosports, McLaren and my management, EDGE, for this opportunity and I hope that this is the start of a long and successful relationship together.”
